The whole thing cost less than $20 for the appointment, checkup, and eye drops. First, and most important, I was unofficially told that most of us teachers will only be teaching 24 hrs/wk next semester (in one week). The consular was very blunt and I'm excited about experiencing that kind of bluntness all the time.  The wind chill was 4F when I woke up the morning of.  Next step is for TOPIA to buy my plane ticket and then for me to get on the plane.  I fly out two weeks from today. Next step is to go to ATL and interview with the Korean Consulate.  I've got that scheduled for Wed Feb 4th at 1100.  Problem is, I'd have to leave at 0500 to get out there in time and of course I'd rather not do that.  Or, I could go there the night before and crash either at Austin's mom's condo, or with Alex's brothers. The process should take no more than two weeks, or that's what I've been told.  Also the exchange rate is dipping back down, right now I'm at $1600USD/month. One EOM HAE MI signed for the package.  I was expecting to get some sort of confirmation email from them but I didn't.  My Korea website is coming along pretty well, still have a lot to add.  It's one month before I leave, kinda weird. The process was relatively pain-free, aside from the $66 charge of shipping .7lbs across the Pacific.  At least it'll be there Monday and I should have my visa issuance number in a week or two.
